Oil Painting - Wheat Harvest

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

Large oil painting of a wheat harvest with a church in the background.  There does not seem to be a signature that I can find.  Painting measures appx 2.5 x 3 ft.    There is some writing on the back of the canvas and on the edge, see photos, and two stickers: one price tage from John Wanamaker (an old Philadelphia department store) for $325, and a round orange sticker with CFFA 128 on it.  (The edge writing also says CFFA 128 PAW 5403.)

Looking for any information on artist, etc.

Does anyone know what city is portrayed in this painting?

Signed by Tam Son

I was told the city is Hong Kong around the 1920's.

I can't seem to pin point a specific location....Is it possibly Queens Road?

Any input would be appreciated....Thank you
