Nature of the Service

InstAppraisal provides informal opinions of value relating to antiques, collectibles, art, and related items.

Content may be generated by artificial intelligence ("AI"), reviewed by humans, or reviewed by individuals with subject-matter experience.

InstAppraisal does NOT provide certified, licensed, or formal appraisals.

Authenticity & Counterfeit Risk

InstAppraisal does not authenticate items. Any statements regarding authenticity, origin, materials, maker, or age are expressions of opinion only.

Many categories—including luxury watches, jewelry, designer goods, art, coins, autographs, and memorabilia—are frequently counterfeited. Authenticity cannot be verified from photos alone.

When authenticity cannot be verified, InstAppraisal may provide conditional valuations such as:

• If Authentic
• If Replica / Counterfeit

These scenarios are educational only and do not constitute verification.

Appraisal Review Levels

• AI Appraisal: Automated system output.
• Human Reviewed: Reviewed for plausibility and clarity.
• Expert Reviewed: Reviewed by a subject-matter individual.

Expert review does NOT include forensic testing or physical inspection. Expert review does NOT guarantee authenticity.

All appraisal levels are informal opinions only.

Badges and Labels

Labels such as "AI Appraisal," "Human Reviewed," and "Expert Reviewed" are transparency indicators only. They do not imply certification or liability.

Automated Enforcement

InstAppraisal uses automated systems to enforce safety and compliance. Appraisal content may be programmatically modified to:

• Add counterfeit warnings
• Insert dual valuation scenarios
• Require authentication recommendations
• Remove misleading claims

User Responsibilities

1. Account Security: You are responsible for your credentials.
2. Independent Verification: All information must be independently verified.
3. Transaction Responsibility: InstAppraisal is NOT responsible for:
   • Buying or selling decisions
   • Insurance claims
   • Listing accuracy
   • Financial outcomes

Acceptable Use

• No spam or trolling
• No illegal content
• No harassment

Fees & Paid Services

Payment does NOT guarantee accuracy, value, or outcome.

Limitations of Liability

• No appraisal is certified or guaranteed
• No warranties are provided
• InstAppraisal is NOT liable for:
  • Financial losses
  • Fraud or counterfeit transactions
  • Disputes between parties
  • Service interruptions

User Acknowledgment

By using this service you agree:

• Appraisals are opinions only
• Authenticity is never guaranteed
• You assume all risk

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InstAppraisal, Inc. from claims arising from use of this site.

Prohibited Items

• Illegal items prohibited
• Ivory and endangered species products prohibited
• Firearms: Not allowed under any circumstances.

All branding and content are property of InstAppraisal, Inc.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of InstAppraisal shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, rather than in court.

Arbitration shall be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in California unless otherwise agreed.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Claims must be brought on an individual basis only.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first using the service by sending written notice to:
