Received these chairs from friend as they were his parent's chairs. Estimated to be 50+ years old. Dark stain on wood and leather is original. Parents were from Germany and brought many items with them from German when they immigrated in the 1950's.
Tables came with the purchase of a home with which, heir sold all furnishings. THese two tables came with home and unsure if antique or if any value. I know the tables are over 40 years old based on time person lived in home with said tables.
Hoping someone might see some construction of the tables to rule in or rule out antique or even vintage value. Trying to decide what to do with them.
Wooden, ornate secretary/children’s desk? Four drawers on right side with locks. Extensive, ornate, scrollwork and trim, leather blotter in desk lid. No idea of the age or value. There are no makers marks on the piece that we can find. I would appreciate anyone’s input on value, age or manufacturer.
EXTREEMLY heavy 1913 floor safe with interior lable stating "National Safe & Lock Co Cleveland U.S.A." The front has a very unique locking handle. As far as we can tell the interior is all original. I has a metal hinged box, similar to a safety deposit box. There are metal trays that slide in and out and appear to be for rolled coines (we are guessing).
