I would appreciate any information someone may have about these chairs including thier value. The pressed cane seating is obviously not original and I assume it was done professionally as it is very tight. Any information is welcomed.
around the outer edge of the painting are the 10 commandments all have an individual picture next to each commandment . example fifth commandment honer thy mother and father has a picture of a mother and father in a rocking chair and 2 children bringing them gifts. the Lords prayer in the center..all the words are different sizes and colors through the prayer. very well illustrated with pictures and flower and ivy detail on the border and through out
I purchased this at a garage sale this summer. A local farming family was clearing out the attic for storage. The husband had a bunch of antiques he'd bought from auctions and the wife was gettin rid of what she seen as junk. I think she did it without him knowing.
