Other than what you see in the pictures I know nothing about the age, style, type of wood or value of this bed. I have owned it for 26 years. It has moved several times, my youngest has used it the last few years. It is very solid & sturdy and one tough bed!! I have never refinished it or done ANYTHING to change it appearance, never had to glue, nail or screw anything back together. It has some damage on teh footbaord. Side rails look to be original, they were what came with the bed when I bought it.
The hallmark is English Silver MFG corp and on the right there is a woman or man looking to the left and on the left there is a stamp with the initials F the f is lower case then MRR and below that is a S.
This is a old piano roll. It is a Welte-Mignon Reproducing record. It shows HONEY on the box and the code number is B-7583 song "In the Bottoms" played by Ava Yeargain copy wright is 1913 by Clayton F. Summy Co. Also written on the box is De Luxe Reproducing Roll Corp and made in the USA.
