The millstone was found at a newly purchased property in Deep River, CT. It was propped against a tree trunk.
The millstone is 3" thick and 20" wide with a square center hole 2 7/16" wide. There is either a 77 or LL etched on the face. Hardware was included, an iron spindle.
I am considering purchasing this doorstop that the seller bought from an auction in southern Jersey. I must admit I am stumped with this one. I stated in the title that it is rare. I have not found one like this in my references or currently for sale on the internet. The colors are too light to be a Hubley. Do you know who made this one and what the value of it is. Is it a reproduction or an original.
This is a large heavy doorstop. It is 10.5" high X 6" wide. It weighs 9 lbs. This is the first paint. There was a white primer under the top coat. The colors are still bright pastel. There are a few chips but not excessive. Please see photo below.
This Milk White Punch Set contains 27 pieces in immaculate condition - not a chip or crack on anything - and the original box. This set was manufactured by the Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation in Lancaster Ohio. It is the Vintage Design, which features grape bunches and grape leaves. The set contains: twelve cups, one bowl, one base, twelve cup hangers and one ladle.
