This piece was given to my Dad as a lamp. It seems to be made from some sort of pottery medium. The outer surface is painted shiny black, the "N" is embossed, with gold paint over it, as well as the frame of the picture. The picture itself looks like it could be from the Revolutionary War era, or maybe French or Spanish, as the soldier in the picture is wearing some type of uniform. There are no marks on the bottom, and it is indented about 1/8 inch underside. bottle is smooth, with no seam lines, and the lip appears to be part of the piece. I believe the original cork stopper is in place.

Oak wardrobe with beveled mirror featuring three decorative acorn-like carvings. On the inside, are original horizontal wood supports. In the picture you will see I set wood shelves on top of these supports to use this as a dresser. They are easily removed and the original rod to hold clothes is still in place. It runs from front back.
I inherited this bedroom set from my parents and would like to know the style, age and/or value of it. Other than needing a good cleaning, the pieces all seem to be in good condition. The feet appear to be what I believe are ball and claw. The dresser and both sides of the vanity have pieces of glass covering the tops. Those pieces of glass as well as the mirrors don't contain any cracks. Please forgive the poor pic quality as they were taken as a quick inventory and I haven't gotten back yet to take more. Thank you so much for taking a look at them and for any information you can give me.
