knee hole desk

Category
Furniture
Description

Kneehole desk.  9 drawers. Sold a house and this was left with the house.  Buyer was going to throw out so I took it.  Has veneer on top, on back panels and on drawers.  uneven dove tail but does have round screws on bottom where legs are only.  Could have sworn I saw this in an old 40's movie.  Also found a receipt at back of a drawer for a magnavox tv from 1962 from Gimbels, Leetsdale, PA to be delivered to a Mrs. Ruth R Gunach? Gunaer? 712 beaver Rd, Leetsdale, PA

BRONZE STATUE OF BOY WITH A WAGON BY "LAKE GENEVA STUDIOS"

Category
Fine Art
Condition
Excellent
Description

THIS IS A SCULPTURE OR STATUE THAT IS LIKE SIZE OF A YOUNG BOY PULLING HIS WAGON AND IS DONE IN BRONZE. IT WAS PURCHASED AT AN ESTATE AUCTION 6 OR 7 YEARS AGO AND I DID NOT GET ANY INFORMATION ON THE PIECE. THROUGH A LOT OF RESEARCH ONLINE I HAVE FOUND A COUPLE OTHER BRONZE STATUES THAT WERE BEING SOLD ON LINE FROM THE SAME STUDIO. THE PRICES THAT THEY WERE BEING SOLD AT WERE QUITE IMPRESSIVE. I AM READY TO SELL AND DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE SURE I AM ASKING A FAIR PRICE BOTH FOR MYSELF AND THE BUYER. "LAKE GENEVA STUDIOS'' EXISTS YET I HAVE NOT FOUND A WAY TO CONTACT THEM FOR INFORMATION ON THE PIECE. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THESE PIECES CAN RANGE QUITE A BIT IN VALUE AND HOPE THAT THROUGH THE HELP I GET HERE CAN FIND AN APPROPRIATE PRICE. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE BOY STANDS 40 INCHES TALL. THE WAGON IS 12X12X24IN. ANY HELP OR INFO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
