Antique China

Category
China
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have two sets of antique china, at least one circa 1880's. Both sets made in England, John Maddock & Sons, Royal Vitreous "Beatrice" and "Baltic" patterns. the Beatrice set is delicate blue detail with gold edging. Two sets of 12 plates, one about 9" and one about 8".

The Baltic set consists of 12 teacups and 12 6" saucers, 4 tiny plates (3"), a teapot, a gravy boat/sugar dish?, 12 soup plates, a large soup tureen, two large shallow bowls, and a large 18" serving platter.

I may have some of the two sets mixed up, but that is the gist of what I have. All are in excellent condition, only one plate with cracks, other than the tiny cracks of age beneath the glaze. Any idea what this stuff is worth?

STONE MASON FRUIT JAR UNION STONEWARE CO. RED WING MINN.

Category
Pottery
Condition
Fair
Description

Item is a STONEWARE MASION FRUIT JAR UNION STONEWARE CO. RED WING, MINN. This is stamped on the side of the jar in blue lettering. The color of the jar is oatmeal with blue specks in it. It is a quart stoneware jar. The screw top has a slight chip. the bottom of the base has a small hairline crack toward the edge and on the flat bottom base has a dot, brown and hard like glass. Inside the jar in the bottom looks like a patch of the same material, towards the edge. Can you tell me if this came from the manufacture? had it filled with water ,never leaked.

The lid cover is not original. It is a ATLAS JAR 14-2 GENUINE BOYD'S CAP FOR MASON

Could you tell me anything about it and what it could worth?

                                                                          thank you

1950s Japanese style light with parfum well

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Excellent
Description

This is a light from the 50s I believe. It was my Grandmother's. It looks like a Japanese lantern or Japanese type building. there is a well for perfume in the top. When lit the light warms the perfume and you smell the scent. There is a gold dragon on the top, trees and blossoms on the sides. I would say it is probably a night light since the bulb is the kind you use in a nightlight. It has the original cord and plug and the lamp is in perfect condition. There are o chips, cracks or scrtches on it. It does still work. On the bottom there is a symbol and I think it may be Hummel but not sure.

Condition
Good
Description

I have a china cabinet that my grandmother gave me and I would like to know the value of it please. On the back it says Rockford Desk Company on the right hand side and on the left side it has the numbers 590 in a black stamp.

I would like to sell it as I have no room in my house and it is not a safe piece of furniture for my 3 kids. I just have no idea how much to ask for it.
