Description When my grandmother passed away, she left the table and 8 chairs to my uncle. he has since passed away, and it has been in storage. We recently took it out of storage and decided to sell it. It's in good condition: it has some nicks and scratches, which can easily be fixed by someone who wants to take the time to do so. The table top is a veneer over hardwood, not furniture board. It is surdy and well made. The chairs are all solid hardwood. The upholstry is in great shape except for one chair. One of the armchairs upholstry has some stains. The leafs are a bit scratched and dented. The set does include table top pads. This is a fairly modern Federal Revival Suite, most were made during the second quarter of the 20th Century ( 1925-50). This one appears to postdate the 1950's. Comparable suites at auction sell for under $1000.00 Lovejoy
