Antique, hand-stamped brass plate

Hi! I'm an antique-lover, and I sell antiques on Etsy.com, to buyers throughout the USA. I've recently gotten my mom on board, who's an avid antique collector, and she gave me this heavy brass plate, but with NO MARKINGS! I've done ton of searches on eBay, Google, and other antiques websites...the only kind of information I THINK I have, is that it might be Persian/Islamic?? I know it's hand-stamped by the too many slight imperfections. **it has a hanger on the back Any information would tremendously help! I'd like to sell this for my mom :) Please and thank you!
