Antique mirror

By meredoo17, 27 July, 2017
Description

I have a mirror given to me by my grandmother before she passed. It was hanging in her house for as long as I can remember. She told me that it was 109 years old when it was given to her by a friend.  No one in the family knows anything about it or where it came from exactly! It's supposed to hang on the wall above a couch. The glass part is split into 3 separate sections. The 2 smaller sections are the same size and are on the outside. The 2 outside sections also have painted white flowers on the outside edge. The cent part has no painting. The frame is a goldish color and has a cracked type of texture. Both of the top corners and the center have the same color floral like design. There are also 6 small flower like decorations, 3 on the bottom and 3 on the top part. I looked for some markings or engraving somewhere and didn't see anything.
