Description

When this Samovar was purchased from the antique dealer, it had a note inside of it that said, "This Samovar originated in Russia and was taken to Damascus Syria where the fancy engraving was done. It is stamped Sultan Nasser 383 Moslem calender year (983 A.D.) It is solid brass.".

I had a friend translate the writing on the bottom of it and they said that it translates to, "Sultan Al Nasir 383 Hijri"
