Very large and extremely heavy iron eagle.
I inherited this item and know nothing about it with the exception of the 3 offers from antique dealers.
Weight guessing only approximately 500lbs
Approximately 3ft high. I will update exact measurements in a day or so.
The eagle sits on a square iron block that is part of the eagle. The block has holes on bottom of 2 sides maybe to be mounted on something. The block is hollow as is the most part of the eagle. I believe that the wings are solid. It has a beautiful reddish patina which seams to change as the years go by.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
