Art Deco woman's head statuette

By Ambrosiaestancia, 9 September, 2015
Description

Hello!  I am seeking to find any information about an item that I dug up out of the ground on my family's centennial farm.  She had been there for decades!

In my research, I think it is safe to say that this woman's head is made out of spelter (or cast iron).  It is heavy for it's size and made of some sort of metal.

She has no mouth or real eyes, although they are indicated.  She also has a period hairstyle that reflects the early 1900's.  There are also nuts and bolts that show the item was bolted to something at one time.

There are no real markings on her.  She has a lovely patina.

What is she???  Thank you for any insight on this.
