Asian Stoneware Vase / Pot with Rough Applied Eathenware Patterns

By marsmercury, 22 June, 2007
Description

Hi! i think that this is Japanese, but I do not know. I have not been able to get much of any info on it. It is a gray stoneware vase that has rough earthenware thickly hand applied and then it completely glazed inside and out. I have not had any luck with the character seal. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
