Asian Vase in Reverse Inlay or Incised Design with Asian Writing Unglazed and Glazed

By mae920, 21 March, 2015
Description

I have a really unique Asian vase that I have no clue to whether it is Chinese, Japanese or what type of decoration it has.  It is quite lovely with incised or carved design some which is glazed and some which is not.  There appears to be a signature on the bottom or at least some symbol that looks kind of like an 8.  The vase stands around 5 5/8" tall.
