Description

The plate never tarnishes any more than it is now, i presume my mother polished it for years tho. I have no info on its origin or who the people are in the frieze - can anyone help?

It seems to have been trimmed down from a larger piece, as its edges have fine saw lines, and there is slight buckling. Oddly enough it has three punch marks on the rear - like those made by a centre punch. My grandad brought it back from the great war, but apparently wouldnt say where he got it!
