Candlestick Floor Lamp

By ellenme, 26 December, 2010
Description

We found this lamp at an estate sale. The children wanted to get what they could at the sale rest, was going to thrift store. We took most of what they had left for almost nothing. Not only did we get this floor lamp but two others and a pair of table lamps, and so much more all from around the same date period. Will be putting some of the other's on at a later date.

I belive that this is made out of cast metal and/or wrought iron and very little brass if any. Of course since I know nothing about how to tell what it is made from it could be brass metal.  Two of the claw feet on the base have some rust on them. All the lights do work.  It has a  bottom slag glass style bakelite plastic shade globe which lights up, it is wired for it and works. Unfortantly the plastic shade globe is cracked on one side.
