Chinese Silver

By changinglanes, 14 March, 2013
Description

Made of Pure (heavy) Silver.  The entire outside of this peice tells a flowing story w/intricate detail (including the handles and large lid) - Appears to tell a story of power, possible change of leadership or even an act of judgement.  The carvings are extremely clear and the silver is at its purest.  I do know the peice was received by an elderly man approximately 45 years ago while in Southeast Asia.  He actually received this piece when he himself was a child.

This is really all I know and hopefull the pictures will be of great assistance and I look foward to feedback.

thanks!
