Clemco Desk

By amason11, 5 September, 2016
Description

I just inherited Clemco desk from grandmother, dates to first third of 20th Century I think.  Appears to be oak, but I cannot find any examples online: it has three huge drawers on left and one slim drawer over knees.  Drawers have metal pulls.  I would love to know value ( it's only in fair shape), but more importantly I need to know how to get the drawer guides back in for the top left drawer, which has different action than the others.  The drawers have odd metal inserts, maybe for file cards?  Not sure if it was for teacher or office work. Don't think it was ever rolltop but maybe.

I tried to add photos from my phone but they were too big, not sure how to cut down.  Sorry, new to this!  Thanks for any replies.
