Crouch & Fitzgerald steamer trunk

By Mcswim2000, 16 November, 2013
Description

I bought this trunk at the Salvation Army for 50.00. The outside is pretty weathered.  The inside is in good shape with all of the original trays and straps. It looks like it ha been storing Christmas decorations in a barn. I bought it because my last name is Crouch. I'm wondering if I should take the canvas panels off and restore the wood underneath or leave as is. Would the value go up of down?
