Double Vase from Germany

By AmandaC., 12 November, 2014
Description

I bought this double vase at my local thrift store. After trying to do some online research about this item, I came up with nothing. The bottom reads GERMANY 5 (maybe a "C" with vertical lines going through it) then DEP  11875A. What puzzles me is the paint on both fronts of the vases. Could it be washed off or worn away so easily? If anybody knows anything, I sure would appreciate your imput.

Thank you ~
Amanda
