Edwin Knowles Semi Vitreous Vase ca. 1910-14

Profile picture for user Janel B.

Description

I have an Edwin Knowles semi vitreous china vase with an ornate gold leaf design stamped around its neck. Based on the company's history, I believe it may be 14 kt. The base of the piece is a cream color, with a sage green round its base and neck.

I cannot find any online information about it, other than I believe the number dates it between 1910 and 1914. Except for some minor chipping on one side of the rim of the vase, it is in great condition. No cracks, and all of the gold leafing is perfect, none has rubbed off.

What can you tell me about this piece?
