Have you cleaned it? It does not appear salt affected? It appears to be of an old or ancient design. Odd. Solid or cast hollow?

I dont think its been cleaned. My father said it has a small hole n the top, almost if it was a pipe or something like that. But we arent sure.

So the metal object is hollow with handle and a spout. What is the size?
Consideration: it may have been used as a water dropper, with the extra hole to place a finger and control the flow. Such droppers tend to be small holding an ounce or two of liquid.

Its about 3x3 inches. It looks Bronze. I am going to be posting more pictures momentarily .

Great. The face medallion is like a logo. Can you get a focused closeup of that detail?

Ive been doing some research and I found out a few things. I found out its called an Aquamanile and I think its from 1800s Europe (I think Germany). I dont know how it got to St. Thomas or if its even worth anything.

I have even seen some that were oil lamps. Its missing a few pieces.
