I recently inherited several tea sets and other china ware from an aged great aunt.
This tea set was among the items.
It has... A teapot, Sugar bowl, creamer, 6 cups, 6 saucers and 6 plates.
Also 6 gold plated tea spoons.
All in very good to excellent condition.
The dragons wrap around the items and the work is exquisite.
I know nothing about the background of this item.
The teapot has a paper label "Sapphire Goldware Fine China"
All items are stamped with a simple black "JAPAN"
