H&C Kimmel Teapot and cups

Description

I believe the teapot and cups were handpainted by Kimmel. The items were created by H & C. I found a number of markings representing Haviland creations, but none exactly like the one on the bottom of this teapot. The pot and one cup is in excellent condition, but one cup has been broken and repaired.

Distinguishing marks
H & C on top line. Something underneath that I can not read. There is something underneath that line, but it has been written over with "Kimmel".

My friend said that she had inherited the set from her mother.

Given to me by a friend that was downsizing her possessions and moving to Arizona.
