Hoosier Cabinet

By alabamacabinet, 30 November, 2008
Description

Notice the detail painting on the top of hte cabinet and the decorative trim piece across the top.  Item still has original finish and hardware, no damage to the item. The finish is wore in some places, but wood is in great shape.  The porcelain top slide in an out easily, but it does show signs of wear.  In my opinion, the character of this piece is wonderful.

I am not sure about the origins, and there is no label on the piece to detail maker.  I know this item has been in my family at least 70 years, so i am guessing it is a depression era piece.  I also know that my grandfather's mother bought the piece new.

Any information or details anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.
