Mirrored Vanity

By stineway, 29 March, 2008
Description

This glass vanity was given to me by my grandmother. She was born in 1899, probably married around 1920. The mirror is held to the base by 4 screws. The lights work. Front drawer glass is cracked, also cover for left light bulb is broken (I have the pieces). There are no markings whatsoever on this piece, except for crayon markings on the bottoms of the drawers, "1" and "2".

Mirrored Vanity

This is a wonderful Art Deco piece from the late 1920's to early 30's. I can honestly say I've not seen one like it, but it should fetch over $400.00.
