Oil on Canvas identification

By BBrian, 19 June, 2017
Description

Hi there

I could use some help with identifying the artist of the attached oil on canvas, as well as any other information on him or the painting that might be available.  The canvas size is approx. 24" x 32", and depicts the Hangman Bridge in Nuremberg, Germany.  The frame is rough and experiences some dry rotting around the edges.

Photo two is a closeup of the signature, and photo three is a closeup of a mark on the canvas' back
