Old throne

By 2nick, 17 March, 2010
Description

It had to be cleaned up quite a bit when we brought it home. Upholstery has been redone at some point, but restoration is not necessary. It is in pretty good condition though obviously has some wear and tear. The construction is solid wood with no nails or other hardware. The carving on both the lettering and the coat of arms is quite definitely hand carving.

Can anyone tell me anything about this piece. I would very much like it valued.
