Description

My husband and I have a four piece parlor set that we purchased at an auction.  From what we have found on the internet, we believe the set could possibly be Second Empire from the mid-1800's, but we are not sure.  We have seen other parlor sets on the internet that look similar to our set, but we have yet to find a set exactly like ours. The set includes one settee, one chair, and two rockers.  The set has been refinished and the material is black leather.  The set is beautiful and in very good condition.  We are just wondering if you have any other information about a set like this and if you know what era it is from.  We were also wondering if you have any idea what a set like this is worth and if it is rare to have a four piece set compared to a three piece set. Thank you so much for your help.
