Description

Another piece of relic from my family. Was told that it was made in Japan.

I believe my dad had made some basic restoration to it with some hard stainless steel wire to secure the joints of the lid because the original ones had corroded away and the lid would be falling off...I am just not sure how much that would affect the value. I had captured it in one of the pictures.

Please advise on its origin and value.

Medium Various metal. the metal showed some rust, so that could be Iron. Which the handle and certain parts of the iron have not rusted and still show some pristine paint...
