purex bottle

By artdreamshop, 6 April, 2009
Description

This bottle has two seams going up to the lip. From our research, the age is somewhere between 1860 to 1920. It has PUREX embossed several times around the outside of the bottle. On the bottom there is a small circle with an L inside of it and the number 81 to the side. We'd like to know what this bottle is worth. Thank you.

Re: purex bottle

I have the same bottle although it is not in quite as good of shape it has the same markings except the L is followed by the number 11.  Mine came up in a trawl net from the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in about 500fm of water NW of Pt. Reyes
