Redeemable check for Grossman’s Men’s Wear

I found this tucked into an old dresser of mine. They are redeemable cash checks for GROSSMAN'S MEN'S WEAR.  When is valued at five cents and the other is valued at one cent. On the back it says copyright 1934.
