Description
My father lived in germany from about '81 to '88. I believe he purchased this chess set during his time there. I do not know its "official" name or who created it, but I have heard him refer to it as a russian doll chess set. When searched, I found nothing that looked like this set. It is in good to excellent condition with minor paint chips in 2 or 3 pieces. If I remember hearing right it was hand carved and painted, if anyone knows the history, or value of this, I would greatly appreciate it.
