These are what's referred to

These are what's referred to as " Hitchcock Chairs" after the largest produced of such chairs, Lambert Hitchcock. The originals were made during the second quarter of the 19th century, but have been reproduced since the 1960's. Original chairs of this type at auction in less than perfect condition sell anywhere from $50.00- $150.00 each.
