Set of three Brass Elephants

A set of three small brass animals, the largest being about 2 inches in height. I think they are elephants, but they could possibly be monkey heads or some other sort of animal. I can’t find anything like them online. They were purchased as part of a lot at an auction, and so I have no idea what their origin is.
