Description

Please help me figure out what these things are!!! Salt and Pepper shakers? but then why would they be hung? I have searched online and can not find anything like them. They look like bugs or owls

Not sure, I picked these up at a estate sale, they were in a box all the way in the bottom. I thought at first they were salt and pepper shakers, but they have a little hanging metal loop on the top. So maybe there is more to them then just salt and pepper shakers. The tops do screw off and they are just really odd looking. The glass is a light brown with raised bumps.

Hi, they are amber owl salt and pepper shakers. They usually come with a tree stand in which they hang from. You can find them a set with a stand like yours on ebay or other vintage stores for about 5.00. Hope this helps.
