Terra Cotta Bust

Description

I believe it to be a terra cotta bust of some sort. never seen to be able to find any info for it so anything I can find is greatly appreciated. Stands about14 inches tall and about 11 inches wide at base. My guess would be mid to late 1800's.

Appears to have a Sqare(diamond) stamped into material on inside. Also a hand written 897 with a w below it
