I'm almost certain it's made of tin because a magnet sticks to it. It looks similar to other tin items I've seen. It's very firm and doesn't seem easy to bend.
Distinguishing marks
No words, letters, or numbers on it.

Long Description

This was mixed into a box of books I received. There are no numbers or printing on it. A magnet sticks to it, so I believe it's made of tin. Measrements: 4.5" x 2.75" x 1.12" inch. Perhaps a bookend or napkin holder? Any guesses on the value also would be appreciated.

History
I found it in a box of books given to me 10 years ago.
