Description
This is an Underwood Standard No. 5 Typewriter.
I just picked it up off Craigslist. My best guess is that it was made around 1924.
This typewriter is very clean and in excellent condition. It still types. All keys, switches, and cylinder still work and slide smoothly. Paint is intact with few signs of wear.
I intend to thoroughly clean it and put in a new ribbon.

Underwood introduced its legendary No. 5 modelabout 1901, which was sold in millions. The model remained in production for about 30 years. Values for them vary by the market, in the general antique market they often go unsold at auctions or under $150.00. Here is a link for you:
