Re: Val St. Lambert Clear Crystal Vase 1950's
As an ameture Val St Lambert collector I can tell you:
Val St Lambert, a very old Belgian company, is arguably the second or third most famous and sought after names. Baccarat being tops. Having said that, prices are all over the place.
Vases similar to yours aren't that sought after and only run $29 to $49 on ebay, and may or may not sell. From the pictures yours appears in good shape with no scuffs, flea bites or chips.
That the sticker is on is a good sign. But generally it is more likely to sell if it is signed on the bottom. An etched or hand signed VSL are good, a full etched Val St Lambert better, and hand signed best.
Wish I had better news for you.
Re: Val St. Lambert Clear Crystal Vase 1950's
Thanks for the reply. I've noticed as well that the prices are everywhere. Supposedly my dad saw somebody selling this exact vase for $700, but we do not know if it sold. If you or anybody else knows how we can investigate the value of this specific model of vase, that'd be incredibly helpful.
