Waltham watches turn up fairly regularly on this site. I'd suggest using the search box to read some of them for some background. A photo or two would also help us in evaluating your 'treasure'! Interestingly enough your serial numbers don't seem to match up. Perhaps you could check them? Particularly the ones on the inside back of the movement. Here is a site that helps you cross reference the watch once you have that number: http://www.nawcc-info.org/ It will give you manufacturing dates and other details. I tried each of the numbers you provided but they all had fewer numbers of Jewels so don't really match up. That's why I suspect a number is written wrong or something. Depending on the a fore mentioned details, and assuming it's not a faked version, these watches start at about $350 and go up to about $5000 for the rare ones. Again more details need to be provided before a more exact estimate can be provided. You might consider visiting a Waltham specialty watch site for a more accurate estimate too. They should be able to help you nail down the style etc. Good luck! 250chief Yours sounds like a gold plated version, and condition/ case type / dial type will also affect the value. I assume that it's insurance value you are looking for.

250chief, I have a ladies watch that has a Waltham inner with a serial #5773 I believe it says 17 jewel and the case is a Keystone marked 14K Solid Gold and the number inside the case is 68197. The watch is pretty small rectangle shaped and has a black band that's more like string. I looked at the serial numbers on the nawcc site and if correct it was made in the mid 1800's. Did they make watches that style back then? I've looked through hundreds of pictures on different websites and have not found anything similar any help would be appreciated.
