VINTAGE DAVID STRAUS BEARDED LADY CIRCUS COOKIE/CANDY JAR

By ClintA, 22 February, 2014
Description

This wonderful jar measures approximately 9-1/4" high and 3-3/8" square at the base. I purchased it around 1980 in a shop in Greenwich Vllage in New York City. I'm sorry but I don't remember how much I paid for it. I do remember that it was part of a set of half-a-dozen or so other jars all with a circus theme. There was a ring master, a strongman, and several others including this bearded lady.

She has never been used except for display and is in excellant condition: no dings, cracks, or chips.
