Description
I found it on craigslist a few months ago but ignored the ad because it was posted as not working. I ran into the ad again a few days ago so i messaged the seller and set up a view. Went out to see it and it looked phenomenal but the guy said he never got it working and just wanted it out of the way. I offered 30 dollars and he said no give me 20 dollars just so it wont stay here. I brought it home, opened it up and found a wire that was unplugged, plugged it in, turned it on and it played like it was new. The entire turntable, from exterior to interior looks like it was kept indoors and maybe used as a coffee table or decoration.
Re: Vintage Motorola Stereophonic console Turntable
I dont know much about this item but I would like to find out if you had a serial number or product number for it. I am looking for this exact model and am very interested in it!
Re: Vintage Motorola Stereophonic console Turntable
There is not much market for consoles like this in the current market unless you run into a collector of Moderne or Danish Modern furniture. We see similar examples sell for under $100.00 on a regular basis.
Re: Vintage Motorola Stereophonic console Turntable
Ugh! Just read your entire post and noticed it wasn't for sale. I don't know anything about cost or anything in reference to this stereo, but it does bring back so many memories of my youth. We played Donny and Marie records on this and my Mom had pencil and paper on the wood flat part writing out all the lyrics so we could sing the songs. Then I would pull out my Dad's old 45s and listen to A White Sport Coat and A Pink Carnation and Silhouettes. I guess from overuse, it stopped working and instead of getting it fixed, my Dad burned it up on the burn pile. That was a very sad day for me. Wish I had been older...I would have taken it with me. :( If you EVER do decide to sell it, PLEASE let me know. Thank you for posting such nice pictures. Brought back memories and a few tears.

PS. I don't make a lot of money, but I would pay more than $100.00 and then pray you live close to Ohio.
