Waiting for a live one mirrored serving tray

By tankd822, 24 May, 2013
Description

This is a serving tray that is glass and mirrored that I found. I am not sure of the date of the item. It has a cartoon bar scene on it that reads "Waiting for a live one". It does not have a date or signature on it. I have tried looking on the internet and cannot find anything like it. It is red and the tray is wooden and it looks like the mirror part is just nailed to fit in the space. I would just like to know if anyone has ever seen something like this or knows what its worth if anything. Thank you.

Re: Waiting for a live one mirrored serving tray

I have one too. It was produced at the end of prohibition. Also I saw one on eBay for $60. There were plaster pieces of the same subject for $30-150.
