I have a cloth bound, in bambo, 78rpm record album with records from that era with American recording artists. The only history I can atest to is my own knowledge of it. When I found the album , in 1956, in an abandoned house in southside Ft. Worth, Texas. It has been in my possession ever since.
Each compartment/sleeve of the album , there are twelve, contains a record. The vinyl records are popular artist for the era, to include Bing Crosby, Guy Mitchel ,Doris Day , Romary Clooney and others. The sleeves indepently have Japanese photos/drawings on the front an back. There is a lot of words in Japanese in the album. I have taken digital photos of it if that would help.
