Description
I rescued this bayonet from being thrown in dumpster! It has a 17" triangular blade with markings; crown over 40, K&A. 288 on the bent part and the part that fits on the barrel is 4" long and the notch has not been widened. My brother did some research and found that it was made between 1778 and 1806.
