The bracelet consists of 5 panels each 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch. The panels are cobalt blue with scenes of ships and one panel appears to have a scene with a couple of animals. Each square is in good shape, no cracks or chips. Enamel on sterling. Clasp still works well. Have never been able to find another like it.
these are pictures of two lamps which i have the option of getting for free, i would please like them evaluated. i'm unsure of any details as none can really be given to me about them. from what i'm told they date back roughly to the late 1800's/early 1900's.
I own a naturally shaped rock,looks
as a sea animal, was found early 20s near the shores of the Red Sea.
It is 8 in. long and weighs 2.9 lbs, color dark brownish.
The features are extraordinary unique, so close to perfection.
Snap shots were sent to: Black Hills Institute of Geological Research, Inc.
at Hill City, SD, USA. For examination and analysis.
Their Paleontologists, and after a thorough exam, reported to me that
the rock is ( intriguing ) uniquely shaped by nature and absolutely not a fossil,
it is more like( an ancient animal either fish or mammal or reptile )
I believe it is second to none, it is an act of God.

This was one of my late mother's favorite pieces. As far as I can tell, the rack has it's original gold-painted finish. There is one small spool missing at the center top, but other than that, the wood part of the rack is in good condition. The fabric panel has some worn areas, and it appears as if the material may have already been well-used when the rack was made.
Can anybody tell me approximately when this might have been made? I am guessing the 1930's, but could it be earlier?
I would love to know what this rack is worth. Were these ever made commercially, or are things like this always one-of-a-kind?
Also, is there a specific term for this craft? Is it called Spool Art? Tramp Art? Folk Art?
I have seen bronze replicas of this item selling for $2000-$8500. I believe this is the original marble statue that the molds for the bronze statues were made from. My grandfather use to tell the story that the man he bought this from wanted to buy it back for $500.
There are 8 bowls in pretty good shape with little or no cracks or chips. There are 10 plates all of the same pattern and color as the bowls and the plates are all complete but most of the plates have a hair-line crack somewhere on the plate. I can include pictures in a day or so.
